What you said? What did you set out to do?
With energy, you began only to tire while still in full view.
Do you remember why it was important to do?
Only to doubt yourself until you were convinced that it was no longer the right thing to do.
Our minds cluttered by lists, phones, and gadgets
Letting our faulty logic dance in the air
Helping us stay distracted beyond repair.
If only we could remember, how important it was and should still be
To remember what we said and set out to do
When we first believed
That finishing this work would be true.
Distractions be damned, there is simply much work left for us to do.
