We hear often that we need to always be learning. What’s confusing is how? Especially since we are not in school. Read books and take classes is all we know when it comes to study. Is that all there can be?
What I find most helpful, is the next question. The one that comes after the answer. This is where deep self-directed learning occurs. The next question after the answer.
Fueled by curiosity, the journey of learning is much like digging a hole. One shovel at a time.
The next question, AFTER the answer. This is the best way I can describe continuous learning. It’s not that you will have the next answer, but the next question does orient you to the perspective that there is still more that you don’t know.
Have you ever tried?
