This question always separates the men from the boys (or the women from the girls). With all of your dreams, goals, and needs there is a rush of excitement for what (you are certain) will happen. The words easily flow our of our mouths into the ears of others.
But time takes its cruel walk. As it passes, we lose interest in our dreams and lose focus on our goals. What we felt certain will happen quickly becomes lost in our memories never to be heard again.
The separator for the few who never allow time to take its cruel walk, is the way they answer the question “Do you want it?”. The answer to this is never validated when first heard.
If you want it, bad enough, you will persist. Keep trying. Doing it or thinking about it every day. It never leaves your mind and you are willing to fight against your laziness because you WANT IT.
You remain restless. You don’t settle. Because you want it, you will endure.
So the next time you dream or publicize your next goal, take the time to think hard about the question “Do you want it?” Your answer will mean all the difference in the world.
