All of us get suggestions from friends or colleagues about apps or software that they find very useful in their lives. Their enthusiasm and devotion make their endorsements extremely appealing.
But then we try them. Sometimes they work but many times they seem awkward. We don’t find a flow in using them which makes us question the enthusiasm we heard when they were suggested.
While weight loss programs are not an app, they too fit into this category. For some, a certain plan fits and for others it doesn’t.
It’s taken me a long time to realize that all of us work in different ways. We think in different ways. We approach life in different ways. None of this makes any of us bad. Again, it just means we are different.
Not all helpful tools are meant to work well with every individual. Especially when it comes to the ways we think about and organize our lives.
Always try something new because you may be surprised at what you learn. If it works for you great. When the fit is not a good one, simply smile and say thank you to the person that shared it with you knowing that they meant the best for you when they offered their suggestions to help you.
