As you grow old, you begin to see clearly that life’s activities or projects or dreams never really have an endpoint. You get far along in your journey and then something else appears. Either as an obstacle or a detour or a distraction.
What’s not easily realized, is that life gives us numerous opportunities for new beginnings. After lunch or dinner. The next morning. The day after. At the next meeting. After the next run. Before we go to work. After we come back from our vacation. The ride home after the client rejection.
You see, we are never as trapped as we feel. You just have to take advantage of the next minute in your life to try something new. Regardless of what just took place.
